Faskally Forest, also known as Faskally Woods, is a 25-hectare mixed woodland in Perthshire, Scotland, managed by the Forestry Commission since 1953. Located 1 mile northwest of Pitlochry on Loch Faskally's north shore, it surrounds scenic Loch Dunmore. Originally a 19th-century model estate by Archibald Butter, it became a forester training school until the 1960s. Now a recreation-focused site, it features diverse trees like Douglas fir, European beech, Scots pine, and silver birch, with some over 100 years old. Famous for vibrant autumn colors, it hosts the award-winning "Enchanted Forest" light event and weekly 5K parkruns. Sheltered with 900mm annual rainfall, it offers peaceful walks and high aesthetic landscaping.
